The Smokehouse was amazing food, service was fast and welcoming, Ambiance was amazing. But when you try the food it's amazing, fresh and delicious felt like home coming over to a family's home and they cook you a home cooked dinner. 100/100 a place to stop and eat.

This place is family owned for nearly 100 years! It shows in the friendliest service and some the best breakfasts, lunches and dinners with comfort food around! I love the burgers and fries but believe it's the best scratch breakfast joint 6-days a week in the greater Charleston metro area! Go!!! Tell Mike the owner I sent you!!!!

I had lunch alone today. I was out working and decided to get a quick bite at a local joint where I feel comfortable. I am trying slowly to get used to eating alone. The Smokehouse, I feel safe and comfortable even though on the West Side. I parked in the free lot in the rear. Grabbed a stool at the counter and greeted Mike (the owner) ordered a Hot Dog with chili, slaw and onions. Small order of French fries, they have the good thick ones served with cold ketchup...delicious!! And a nice frosty mug for my cold can of RC Cola.. Definitely recommend exactly what I ordered!!! Full of customers, mainly locals. Enjoy!!!! Great Fixture of the West Side of Charleston!!!!
